THE ROUTES OF THE WINE OF CASTILLA Y LEÓN PRESENT IN MADRID ITS II FAIR OF ENOTOURISM

The Railway Museum of the capital has hosted this morning the presentation of the event, which will take place on May 20 and 21 and will feature a multitude of activities   The 2nd Castilla y León Wine Tourism Fair, which was presented this morning at the Museo del Ferrocarril de Madrid, aims to promote among the Madrid public, the main source of national tourists to the Castilian and Leon community, different tourism resources With the six Wine Routes in the region - Arlanza, Bierzo, Cigales, Ribera del Duero, Rueda and Sierra de Francia - promoting wine tourism. For this, different booths will be made available that will make specific reference to different segments of interest: historical recreations, heritage, nature, leisure, wineries, accommodations and gastronomy. In addition, there will be a multitude of activities, such as those dedicated to children or tasting artisan products. In addition, several of the partners of the Rueda Wine Route will come with interesting proposals to promote the territory.   The enotouristic potential of Castile and Leon, with six Wine Routes under its belt -Arlanza, Bierzo, Cigales, Ribera del Duero, Rueda and Sierra de Francia- is unquestionable. For this reason, and demonstrating the synergy that originates from their union, all of them have presented this morning in Madrid, in the Railway Museum, an event of leisure and discovery of Enotourism and wine culture, through an original travel. This is the 2nd Castilla y León Wine Tourism Fair, a meeting that will take place on 20 and 21 May in the same setting where it has been presented to the national media, and hopes to surpass the success harvested last year , Where more than 4,000 people enjoyed such a complete wine tourism offer.   The activity aims to bring the public in Madrid, the main national tourist market to Castilla y León, the different proposals and tourist attractions of all the Routes, favoring the knowledge of Wine Tourism and its possibilities among visitors. In this way, the Route of the wine of Rueda will have a representation of its patrimonial, historical offer of its wine cellars and activities, gastronomy, accommodation, leisure and nature and, of course, its wines.   For this, several of its partners will have about twenty stands where they will provide experiences to the attendees. Among them are Town Councils such as Medina del Campo, which will feature activities to promote its Renaissance Week and a photomontage so that the public can immortalize its passage through the fair, or that of Serrada ‘Villa del Arte, Vino, Queso y The furniture ‘, which will present its tourist potential by the hand of a gastronomic tasting.   Several wineries will also do the same: Bodega Ten Centuries of Verdejo -which will offer a guided tasting-, Bodega Emina and Almazara Oliduero, Bodega Finca Montepedroso - with a children‘s drawing workshop and a wine label design competition - Bodega Hermanos del Villar, Bodega Hijos de Alberto Gutiérrez -which goes with ‘tastings from the stand-, Bodegas Mocén, Bodega Muelas de Tordesillas -which will make a virtual visit to its facilities and a tasting of vermouth-, Bodegas Protos, Bodegas and Viñedos Verderrubí and Group Yllera.       Among the other participants are 3D Intelligence, Gran Hotel Balneario Palacio de las Salinas, with its activity ‘Experiences of well-being‘, Quesería Campoveja, Gourmet La Giralda de Castilla, Restaurant El Caballero de Olmedo, TurisTren Tordesillas - which will present its offer - and the Rueda Wine Route itself, which will launch the ‘Quiz Traveling Wine Route for Dummies‘, through which it will present its resources and activities. As a prize will draw a package of experiences on the Route, which will include a gift voucher Thermal Break, to enjoy in Castilla Thermal Spa Olmedo 4 *, partner hotel of the entity.   The program of this II Wine Tourism Fair Castilla y León Welcome will also leave space for activities organized for all audiences. In addition to tastings and guided tastings of wines in charge of the different wineries and participating businesses, the attendees will be able to enjoy, among other proposals, artisan bread workshops or guided tasting of honey.
