Bodegas Menade collaborates again with the International Week of Music of the Medina del Campo, which this year celebrates its 25th edition and will continue until Sunday, November 13th.
The festival looks back "to bring together some of the great performers who, throughout these years, have contributed with their participation, to make it recognized today as one of the reference festivals in Spain. Works, artists and motifs linked to the city, share a poster with great stars of international prestige, to celebrate the arrival of a quarter century of good music, "according to the organization. That is why the concerts have started with Beatriz Blanco, the cellist who returns to her homeland and where she began a career already enshrined after winning numerous awards in prestigious European competitions.
In this edition will play an important role children‘s performances, especially with The Puppeteers Binéfar, National Prize for Theater and Children and Youth. Also, those who last year wanted to see the violinist Ara Malikina, you will have the opportunity to do so this afternoon with a commemorative event of 25 years in which will share the stage with six other great musicians.
Javier Perianes, considered one of the most relevant Spanish pianists at international level, singer Ute Lemper, pianist Judith Jauregui and, of course, the Symphony Orchestra of Castilla y León complete an anniversary program.
Finally, in order to reach all audiences, the International Music Week will be closed with the performance of ‘The Secrets‘ accompanied by the young symphony orchestra of the University of Valladolid (JOUVA), directed by the Valladolid Francisco Lara.
Menade wines can be tasted at rest or at the end of the concerts, except for performances dedicated to children.
