The City of La Seca, in a line of renovation of corporate image, and also of the concept of the Tourism area, which was included in SECAVER, begins a new stage that is visualized with the new corporate image linked to the concept of La Seca, as "Cradle of the Green". The concept "Cradle of the green" allows to refound the areas of Culture and Tourism. The work of design and creativity has been carried out by the company YRG Comunicación.
The new graphic image of La Seca Cuna del Verdejo is based on different technical points that have been taken into account since YRG Comunicación, who presented several proposals to the government team for their choice:
- Color has been played with 2 pantones (color coding) that are fully identified and linked to the world of the green, both by the color of the vineyard leaf and by the image of a bottle of green that the target audience has settled In his mind.
- The typography chosen has an important organic load associated with what is considered to be a living element that evolves over time as is the vinho verdejo, but without giving up a correct and appropriate readability.
- With regard to the graphic element (logo), various concepts such as land, tradition, tranquility and identity are represented (representation of the church of La Seca). All this reinforced with the element of the bunch of grapes.
A new website on which we are already working for content will be the final step to conclude this new stage, with a new image and with the empowerment of La Seca as a concept of a municipality that "breeds" the Verdejo variety, with the Generational transmission of wine-growing and wine-growing families in the municipality. The City Council of La Seca, from its area of Tourism and Culture, continues to work in finalizing the details of the X Fiesta del Verdejo, the party that allows to take to the street the final result of the work of winemakers, winemakers and winemakers installed in the town. Through the Wine Fair, on 29 and 30 April, residents of La Seca and all visitors to the Fiesta del Verdejo will be able to taste the wines of the 2016 vintage in a Fiesta that welcomes, as a tribute to the wine of the Variety Verdejo, an extensive program of proposals that are closing. The Sarmiento Prize for the best wine of 2016, with its tasting by means of a professional jury, will represent the previous framework for the most playful and festive activity. On April 20, the tastings will be held in the municipality of La Seca, with an exception jury co-chaired by Salvador Manjón, Director of La Semana Vitivinícola, the magazine of Spanish wine in Spain, which was founded in 1945; And Frédéric Galtier, Head of the Brussels World Competition in Spain. On April 17, the deadline for all the wineries of the D.O. If you wish, submit your samples to this Sarmiento Award, which allows you to exclusively evaluate the wines of the variety Verdejo de la D.O. Wheel.
The deadline for the receipt of proposals for the Sarmiento de Pintura Prize is also open until April 10, and work is also being done on setting up a jury that will have at least 50% of the jury made up of people from the creative arts. The winning picture is acquired by the City Council of La Seca, to form part of its collection, permanently available in the Town Hall.
The Sarmiento Folk Festival also already has a definitive poster formed by the following groups, chosen in the social networks of the Festival, which is organized by the production company Visual Creative:
