The Wine Route of Rueda celebrated the weekend of the 22 to 23 of April its III Fair of Enoturismo and Regional Congress of Enoturismo

The Rueda Wine Route hosted special visits, wine tastings, activities for children, sports, nature and musicals among others   The Wine Route of Rueda was prepared to live the enotourism in its pure state. On the 22nd and 23rd of April he held his 3rd Wine Tourism Fair, which opened a large exhibition tent in Medina del Campo where different partners showed their best charms to visitors, as well as having a large tasting area. The event, which included the Enofestival (April 21-24) and the III International Congress of Wine Tourism in Castilla y León (April 21) as supplements.     That weekend was an important event organized by the Rueda Wine Route in collaboration with the Provincial Council of Valladolid, the Junta de Castilla y León, the City Council of Medina del Campo and the Regulatory Council of the D.O. Wheel. It was the third edition of its Wine Tourism Fair, held that same weekend and that emphasized the innumerable proposals of enotourism, leisure, well-being and gastronomy available on the Route.       The Plaza Mayor de la Hispanidad de Medina del Campo was the epicenter, throughout the weekend, of the Fair. The entrance to the tent, which had a common wine-tasting area associated with the Route, was completely free, and hosted several parallel activities, such as tastings of El Mesón de Pedro tapas and products from the Town Hall of Rueda, In addition to live music and a showcooking of confectionery for all audiences led by Pastry La Giralda de Castilla.     During the opening of the fair on Saturday at 12.00h. The journalist Javier Pérez Andrés was named godfather of honor of the Fair.   The day of Friday, April 21 also gave a glimpse of the wine culture through the III Regional Congress of Enotourism of Castilla y León, which with the background of ‘The Underground Heritage of Wine Routes‘ analyzed its characteristics in the Gran Hotel Balneario de las Salinas Palace from 9 am. Also free of charge, attendees were able to see firsthand interesting aspects such as the town planning regulations of the wine cellars, rehabilitation projects, new entrepreneurial initiatives or a round table with representatives of the Wine Routes of Castilla y León , Among other proposals.       The Enofestival also waited for visitors to the Rueda Wine Route that weekend, with the hope of inaugurating the ‘I Route of Cocktails and Combinations with Verdejo‘ in collaboration with the Association of Hosteleros of Medina del Campo and the Inn of Pedro (effective from April 21 to 24), which had a price between 3 and 5 euros. In parallel, in the framework of the Enofestival, several partners to the Route made alternatives to live a few different days. The Parador de Tordesillas devised a special menu with which to live the area through its gastronomy; The winery Emina Rueda organized a visit to its vineyards with a later tasting maried with chocolate, as a winery Campo Elíseo, which did the same with the hand of a didactic visit and experience with the vine grower in the vineyard and the opening of its terrace garden, with Custom tasting.   Also the winery Hijos de Alberto Gutiérrez started a visit to its facilities and to the cheese factory Campoveja, which culminated with a tasting maridada; The Finca Montepedroso winery, for its part, offered the guests a visit to Finca Los Expolios accompanied by a traditional Castilian meal. Mocén wine cellars, with its ‘Visit Viura‘ with tasting included, the ‘Visit of the seven sevens‘ with tasting of three wines from the cellar La Soterraña, the cycling tour to Menade wineries on Monday 24 and ‘The game of the senses‘ Winery Valdecuevas joined the offer that these signatures, saint and sign of the territory, prepared for the occasion.   Similarly, Buteo environmental initiatives, along with Menade wineries and the Museum of African Art Jiménez-Arellano, proposed the guided tour ‘The Wings of Africa‘, where a nature route was conducted from Foncastín.
